RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide leadership, development & line management to your team.
- Deliver technical projects, ensuring that activities are executed to the standards required for the relevant product classification.
- Ensure all required formulation, feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required quality and regulatory standards and in line with the Reckitt processes. Ensure all documentation is fit for purpose and audit ready.
- Generate and approve data which supports product changes to a standard required by Reckitt and to meet regulatory authority standards
- Support the wider Health team with respect to required activities that support operations in shared laboratories
- Develop team knowledge and expertise to provide support for a given product portfolio
- Support the manager in measuring and reporting team KPIs to senior management
- Support laboratory leadership to maintain working standards
- Oversee and maintain team compliance with Reckitt working practices e.g. change management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Educated to at least Degree level (Food/Nutritional Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant science)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4-6 years R&D experience with a proven track record of delivery
- Line management and people development of a team
- Understanding of nutritional and food science or similar
- Experience of working closely with the supply organization
- An excellent technical problem solver
- Experience of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data using analytical and statistical skills
- Experience of creating data-driven solutions to address challenges and business needs
- Experience of presenting data and predictions using various tools and methods
- Proven track record in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions
- Experience with resource planning and prioritization
- Ability to deliver through others
- Track record of generating technical documentation and reports to support product registration
US salary ranges
USD $93,000.00 - $139,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
