SalaryWe are seeking a Food Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate and implement safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Train employees on safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for prevention
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training
- Coordinate with management to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
Skills:
- Experience in quality control and quality management systems
- Ability to perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to coordinate safety training programs for employees
- Experience conducting quality audits is a plus
