Food Runner/Busser

Tobiko Sushi & Hibachi is hiring for Food Runner (Expo) positions. We are a small family owned bar & restaurant located at Barnes airport in Westfield. Our upstairs deck is open seasonally, and our main restaurant is open year round Sunday - Saturday. We are looking for someone who can work AT LEAST two shifts per week, strong preferences for individuals with Fri - Sun availability.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders, including placing and fulfilling takeout orders
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed including salads and soups
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including bussing and cleaning tables
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns

Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred
- Familiarity with catering or working in a fast-paced food environment is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to help out with various tasks

Requirements:
- Must be able to work an entire shift on your feet
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds over your head

-We are currently looking for fill Monday thru Thursday lunch shifts (10:30am-3:45pm)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Westfield, MA 01085: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
