About the Mulva Cultural Center
The Mulva Cultural Center is a place where all guests are invited to experience a culturally creative and diverse environment for education, enlightenment, contemplation, and enjoyment. The Mulva Cultural Center seeks to offer traveling exhibits, arts, and culture within an architecturally significant facility in historic downtown De Pere, Wisconsin.
Position Summary
The Food Runneris responsible for providing exceptional guest service. As a Food Runner at Savour on Broadway, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to deliver dishes promptly and maintain the high standards of quality and presentation that our guests expect.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist servers in delivering food orders to the correct tables in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure that dishes are prepared and plated according to specifications.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of each order before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate any special requests or modifications to the serving staff.
- Monitor the dining room for empty plates and glasses, and promptly remove them to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, offering assistance as needed.
- Assist in setting and clearing tables and replenish supplies as necessary.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to anticipate and address any issues that may arise during service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain flexible hours: weekdays, evening, holidays, weekends, special events.
Personal Qualities:
- Highly motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrates friendliness, professionalism, enthusiasm, and superior customer service.
- Committed to making safety a priority.
Physical and Environmental:
- Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching as required to perform job.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
