We're looking for an Sales Account Managerto join our company in the sales team. Working as a Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in our company by maintaining strong lines of communication with accounts to fulfill customer needs and actively prospecting new customer relationships.
Our Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing the sales process and driving profitable sales growth within an assigned sales territory to both existing and new customers.

Sales Account Manager RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build long standing relationships with customers by having proactive communication
- Prospect new business opportunities by initiating new customer relationships and providing solution development necessary to land a new customer
- Maintain strong knowledge of market and industry trends through working with the Sales Manager and Customer Service team
- Protect our company assets as well as showing the customer a true savings (hard and soft cost)
- Develops existing customer relationships to expand business and product lines by driving First Choice Distribution's value
- Partners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives. Establishes and maintains clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, customer opportunities, and other customer specific information.
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties as needed and requested by management
Sales Account Manager SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience as a Sales Representative in a similar industry
- Must have excellent organizational, written, and oral communication, listening and presentation skills
- Effective in persuading, convincing, influencing, or impressing others to get them to support a specific agenda, make an impression, and take specific action
- Exhibit a determination to achieve ever-increasing level of performance involving high standards and challenging goals and requires a constant focus on achieving and exceeding those goals
- Executive level negotiation skills including communicating with others by expressing genuine interest in and providing full attention to active listening and meaning of other's message
- Matching and development of solutions for each accounts unique business needs
- Reliable transportation and current driver's license
Sales Account Manager PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Frequent extended periods of time remaining stationary
- Frequent local travel (75% of work time)
- Must have reliable, appropriate transportation
- Job requires visitation of customer sites, which have varying environments, conditions, layouts, and accessibility
