Food & Beverage Supervisor
Full time
Hourly wage: $14. 00 to $15.00 per hour.
The Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in managing the bar operations of our company and assisting the overall Food & Beverage department. This includes assisting in creating and executing cocktail menus, supervising the bar team, ensuring quality and consistency of beverages, assisting in managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsible for the operation of the department in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager. Participates in all Food & Beverage operations daily to assist with workload and respond to guest/owner inquiries regarding Food & Beverage. Ensures all guest interactions are handled in a positive, accurate, and efficient manner always.
Assist in ensuring that all departmental activities are performed within the appropriate guidelines and that all Food and Beverage team members are trained in the area of food quality, sanitation, safety, departmental/resort policies and procedures and guest/owner service standards.
Work Performed:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Assist and or create and execute seasonal | ongoing innovative cocktail menus that complement the cuisine and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Help manage and lead the bar team, including assisting in hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure that the quality and consistency of beverages meet the highest standards.
- Assist in Managing inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including liquor laws and regulations, as well as sanitation and hygiene.
- Assist in Managing beverage costs and labor costs within budgeted guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to develop and execute promotional events and initiatives.
- Assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures that support the company's mission and goals.
- Maintains effective communication and coordination of F&B activities
- Leads by example during bartending | supervisor shifts
- Ensures at the end of each shift that all F&B associates have completed daily checklists and shift closing are accurate.
- * Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination, keeping compartment sinks, side boards, and refrigerators clean and sanitized;
- * Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and
- * Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
- Preferably 3+ years of experience as a high-volume Bartender with key or supervisory responsibilities in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant, with experience in craft cocktails preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage service, as well as liquor laws and regulations
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Liquor Serving Permit - must be state/county-specific.
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler's Card - must be state/county-specific..

Meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
