Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with all The Great Escape policies and procedures
- Oversee all Catered outings and work closely with the Sales Department to ensure success
- Ensure goods are ordered based on inventory levels by certain time each day
- Manage vendor relations as required
- Oversee daily operation of assigned locations to maintain compliance with Six Flags, Food Service and County Health Department policies and procedures
- Assure profitability of assigned locations by monitoring expenses, cost of goods, and inventory
- Responsible for and control of labor expenditures of assigned locations
- Implement guest service programs as needed, and follow up with staff on service practices
- Continually monitor the cleanliness of all assigned locations
- Ensure the safety of all Team Members and Guests
- Develop a well-trained and efficient staff to provide positive guest experiences, and ensure that qualified Team Members are available for promotion
- Make recommendations regarding team member hiring, promotions, and corrective action
- Identify areas for continued improvement; develop and implement strategies to enhance these areas
- Assist with all IPS Departments: Park Purchasing, Games, Retail, and Warehousing
- Review all department safety related incidents and appropriate corrective action
- Comply with all Six Flags handbook policies at all times
- All other duties as assigned
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
- Reports to Park Food & Beverage Manager
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time and able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Must possess a minimum of three years supervisory experience in food service operations and/or in banquets
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelors in Hospitality or Business Management preferred
- Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
- Ability to lead, train, schedule, develop and retain staff in fast paced environment
- Certified in Safe Food Handling or obtain certification within 60 days
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, Holidays and long days/weeks based on business needs
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn inventory management / POS program
