Who we’re looking for:
FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
At Staypineapple, our food & beverage standards are very high—something our guests have come to expect. So it’s critical that everyone on our F&B team is the absolute best at their craft. If you’re detail-oriented, a natural leader and a team player, this could be the job for you. Our Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the management, direction and organization of the restaurant operations. You ensure that the Food and Beverage quality is spectacular—all while maximizing profits.
What to expect:
Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:
- Ensuring that Food and Beverage team members consistently produce high quality food preparation and service
- Ensuring compliance of sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- Overseeing positive guest service in all areas including responding to complaints and taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs. Preparing schedules, covering shifts and making sure the restaurant is properly staffed for all shifts
- Supervising, coaching and mentoring team members to create an environment that encourages the development and growth of all involved
Your experience and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two plus years in a fast-paced restaurant, bar or coffee shop in a supervisory role
- Food Handlers and Liquor Permit required
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic
- Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems
- Proficient at fulfilling guest requests in a thorough and timely manner
- Knowledge and application of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food and Beverage products, menus and promotions
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
