Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to oversee our food service operations. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of food production, customer service, and kitchen management. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food service staff, including cooks, servers, and other support staff
- Ensure that all food production processes meet quality and safety standards
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking of Food and supplies
- Train and mentor staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any concerns or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food production processes, including cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff
- Proven leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team
- Solid understanding of kitchen management principles, including inventory control and cost management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for menu planning, inventory management, and reporting
- Willingness for high amount of travel to visit locations throughout Louisiana and Alabaman and other locations as the business expands.
Preferred Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Restaurant 365 for Inventory Management
- Proven track record for rolling out effective business metric tracking for restaurant KPIs across multiple locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
