FOH Server

```Job Summary```

We are seeking a Front of House (FOH) team member to join us over at The Green Kitchen!

As a FOH team member, you would be responsible for making every customer feel at home here. We're just looking for friendly folks who are looking to pick-up some hours + help us keep things running smoothly :)

Compensation: $12/hr + tips (every shift includes a free shift meal)

no tip pooling, you keep all cash tips, credit card tips roll into your weekly paycheck

```Duties```

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding ingredients or dietary restrictions (we're 100% vegan!)
- Enter orders into the POS system (we currently use Clover)
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables as well as keeping take-out moving
- Check-in with guests on their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow, help with dishes when possible
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

```Qualifications```

- Previous experience as a server or bartender
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with Clover POS system is a plus, but not necessary
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Bartending or food service experience is an asset

We're currently hiring for all shifts! Our hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11-9, and Sunday 11-3. Happy to discuss what schedule would work for you, and can be flexible where possible.

Communication + transparency will be valued above all else here! Just looking for folks who will show up + do a good job. It's a fairly small dining room, so there's not a ton of side work!
