SalaryWe are seeking a enthusiastic, self-driven, punctual, creative individual to create floral arrangements in our small hometown fast paced flower shop. You must bring a positive attitude to the team. You will take orders from customers via phone/computer/in person and be in charge of creating arrangements for our store front and also design made-to-order arrangements for pick-up/delivery customers, you will also need to be comfortable running a basic cash register and have basic computer/phone skills. Additionally, your duties will include keeping our shop clean, stocking shelves, processing flowers, plant care and dealing with the general public in a manner that fits our standards. This individual will also need a valid driver's license and insurance. This is a part time position with the possibility to move to fulltime. Basic hours of operation are 9:00 AM - 5:00PM. Saturday 9AM-12PM. Pay is $10.50hr - $18hr depending upon experience.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Assist customers in person and over the phone.
- Create floral arrangements.
- Manage customer service in the retail department.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or higher education preferred, but not required
- Above average written and spoken communication skills
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Friendly disposition and strong commitment to customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $15.00 per hour
