Schedule:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm Mon – Fri
- Closed Sat and Sun
Sales Responsibilities:
- Ready and willing to take on technology!
- Greets and assists customers both over the phone and in person.
- Develops a strong product knowledge and educates customers.
- Offers alternative products recommendations.
- Communicates effectively to manage customer expectations.
- Develops new business with existing customers through phone calls, electronic communications and customer site visits.
- Creates and updates customer profiles.
- Partners with the Buyer/Branch Manager to identify customer buying trends, promotional opportunities and new product offerings.
- Develops new customer accounts.
- Documents potential customer profiles.
- Manages workload to service existing customers, meet delivery schedules and make existing and prospecting customer site visits.
- Resolves customer complaints, investigates problems, develops solutions and makes recommendations to management to improve company performance and customer experience.
- Informs management of overall market, customer, pricing and product trends impacting the business.
- Ensures data integrity (i.e. invoices, purchase orders, UPC codes, etc.)
- Assists with receiving product deliveries.
- Assists with warehouse responsibilities.
- Assists with physical inventories.
Team Responsibilities:
- Forms strong working relationships within various teams. Treats each individual with respect.
- Maintains confidentiality of customer information 100% of the time.
- Meets with supervisor on a weekly basis to review projects and outcomes.
- Brings issues and solutions to supervisor within 24 hours.
- Performs other duties as needed such as pulling orders, cleaning coolers, etc.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2)+ years of floral and/or floral supply experience in a mass market, retail or wholesale environment, preferred.
- Customer service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the needs of the customer.
- Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills; ensures information is passed on to others as needed.
- Exhibits initiative and drive to achieve results quickly, efficiently and accurately.
- Self-starter who works independently and in a team environment.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:
- Constant to frequent standing and/or walking.
- Frequent need of lifting or carrying (up to 25 lbs.).
- Frequent periods of working inside a cooler with temperature ranging between 32 and 45 degrees.
- Extended hours during busy season.
