Floral Delivery Driver

Sylvia's-Amlings Flowers, the premier florist in Arlington Heights, is looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute our flowers promptly to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our flowers to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Assist in shop care, clean up and general maintenance
• Organize, keep tidy and put away/inventory of our warehouse location
• Help with installation work, event delivery and set up on site at venues and at customer residences
• Be available for late night break down jobs, afterhours, for an additional rate
• Work within a busy and small retail shop

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• High school degree
