Job Summary
The Floral Assistant is responsible for creating and maintaining fresh floral arrangements and seasonal décor of the highest quality within the hotels, as well as servicing the floral needs of hotel guests and groups, as required for private or special events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather proper floral supplies and containers for arrangements.
- Clean and prepare flowers; clean up after job completion.
- Deliver and set-up floral arrangements, linens, props or other décor for banquets and special events.
- Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
- Checking on shipping and receiving product responsibilities as assigned.
Absolutely Required Skills
- Good telephone skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move large, heavy floral displays.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
- Valid California driver’s license with 2 (two) points or less.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods of time. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Repetitive hand use. Firm grasping required.
