Looking for an experienced floral designer to fill a temporary or long-term position at a locally owned florist in Mission Viejo, CA. Mix of designing/assisting lead designer/customer service. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Required:
- Must have professional design experience and a quick hand. (Can make a few arrangements per hour)
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and interacting with customers.
- Must be available to work on some Saturday's and major holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc)

Responsibilities Include:
- Arrange flowers for orders either by walk-in, phone or through our website.
- Make both traditional and modern arrangements, using a photo as reference.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide assistance to customers and answer phone calls.
- Create original designs and price flowers appropriately.
- Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers.
- Cut stems to the proper length.
- Keep flowers watered and fresh.
- Process flowers, clean buckets, and take out trash as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
