Hours Pay:
Year-round, up to $19.50 per hour, pay is based on education and experience
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday | General hours are 6:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. during school year months and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. during summer months. Exact hours vary each day depending on the assigned program location.
Location:
This individual would work at a before school and/or 4K wrap program in Waukesha County each day during the school year months. During the summer months, this individual would work each day at a summer day camp in Waukesha County. Additional administrative work can take place from home or at our co-working office in Hartland.

Duties
Position Summary: The Float Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of a before school, 4k wrap or summer day camp program. Locations may vary throughout the year. Wisconsin Youth Company operates programs in three school districts: Merton, Kettle Moraine and Waukesha. This individual will be responsible for filling in vacant school year and summer day camp positions. Responsibilities include lesson planning for children in grades 4K-5, managing staff, purchasing program materials, managing a monthly budget, and ensuring program quality standards are met. This individual is also responsible for additional administrative tasks and quality improvement projects as time allows.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Has completed college-level (or equivalent) courses in Education (early childhood, elementary, or related)
- Should feel confident managing staff and large groups of children
- Is flexible, adapts well to change and has a positive attitude
- Is organized and has leadership abilities
- Has experience with DCF state licensing
- Values relationships and has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Has reliable transportation
