Summary
iAero Airways is seeking a highly motivated Flight Follower to maintain all operational control and support of iAero aircraft in our network. The role will release and manage flights to ensure aircraft status can operate safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for customer schedules and building schedules into the Aircraft Tracking System.
- Responsible for the procurement and management of Overflight and Landing permits as well as all required PPR’s for the network.
- Responsible for the procurement and management of all required Airport Landing and Takeoff Slots for the network.
- Responsible for charter and military operations coordination and management
- Will be responsible for route building, planning and validation and upkeep of all routes used by the Dispatch/Flight Following Department
- Will assist in the running of flight plans for the sales department
- Will assist in the determination of airport suitability studies as required by the sales and operations teams
- Other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager of Dispatch.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous flight planning or airline planning experience; Part 121 preferred.
- Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Outstanding communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Preferred: Knowledge of BlueOne, Aerodata and NavBlue Flight Planning Systems
