Summary
iAero Airways is seeking a highly motivated Flight Follower to maintain all operational control and support of iAero aircraft in our network. The role will release and manage flights to ensure aircraft status can operate safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Releases flights in accordance with all IAero Airways policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors the status of assigned flights, and flights in progress – including in-flight communication.
- Collects, evaluates, and disseminates weather and aeronautical information to the PIC.
- Determines airport suitability and risk assessment.
- Maintains and supports key flight data on IAero Airways flight tracking software.
- Applies corrective action to minimize actual or potential delays due to weather, aircraft maintenance, operations, crew legality, or other disruptions.
- Advises appropriate company personnel of actual or potential delays and conditions affecting the safety of a flight, including situations with weather, regulatory flight restrictions or scheduling.
- Coordinates with Maintenance Control to ensure aircraft status can operate safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Ensures that MEL/CDL limitations or restrictions are evaluated and complied with.
- Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate is required within 90 days of employment
- High school graduate; some college preferred.
- Experience in Part 121 or Part 135 flight operations is desirable.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each essential duty satisfactorily.
- While performing the duties of a Flight Follower, the employee will be required to sit in an Operations Control Center (OCC). The employee will use a computer station, and telephone. Standing, walking, use of stairs or elevator is required.
- Applicants must be prepared to work any assigned shift, weekends, and holidays.
- International experience is desirable.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.

10hr Shifts: 4 days on / 3 days off & Alternating (Bids begin after training), Weekends/Holidays as required.
