Job Description
- Assists the flight crew in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Notifies the PIC immediately of any emergency situation in the cabin or any inoperative equipment.
- Participates in the Safety Management System.
- Ensures that the appropriate safety equipment is onboard and in an operating condition;
- Understands the proper use of safety equipment;
- Instructs passengers on the use and location of aircraft emergency equipment;
- Instructs and assists passengers during an aircraft emergency;
- Performs specified safety actions in the event of an onboard emergency;
- Understands all details of the flight from the crew briefing;
- Maintains the aircraft cabin, baggage, and galley area in an orderly, safe, and secure fashion;
- Stocks the aircraft with provisions;
- Provides menu planning, catering, and food preparation and presentation;
- Ensures food safety;
- Assists passengers and ensures their comfort throughout the flight and upon arrival;
- Assumes any duties delegated by the Chief Pilot and/or PIC.
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant with High School Diploma or 4+ with AA
- Has a college degree (preferred);
- Possesses knowledge and training in aircraft safety procedures and the use of aircraft safety equipment, to include first aid kits, oxygen equipment, survival equipment, and AED;
- Demonstrates familiarity with meal planning, safe food storage and handling, international and domestic catering procurement and inflight meal service;
- Possesses advanced administrative, communication, and aircraft safety skills necessary to coordinate with the aircrew and attend to passenger needs.
- Experience in the Gulfstream G650 and/or Falcon 2000 (preferred)
- Flight attendant specific training from Flight Safety, FACTs or similar is preferred. Annual recurrent training is required. Preference shown to candidates who have completed Flight Safety, FACTs or similar training within the past 12 months.
- Available to fly on short notice (4-hour response if on standby)
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (consider health and visa status)

The salary range for this position is: $143,225.00 - $185,350.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
