Flexographic Print Manager

The General Manager has Profit and Loss responsibility for our Product Organization in Avondale, Arizona. This job reports to the President of Bizerba Label Solutions and is accountable to achieve or exceed annual plans for sales and profitability. This individual is responsible to hire and develop associates, ensure safe operations, and enforce and develop SOPs at the site. As the senior leader on site, this individual will make day to day tactical decisions as well as advise on CAPEX and strategic decisions on a quarterly and annual basis.

Job Duties:

• Providing leadership and project management to the team
• Developing team's knowledge of cost analysis, campaign setup and assurance towards quality expectations.
• Ensures that equipment is being properly maintained and upgraded.
• Recommending new acquisitions that will increases productivity.
• Overseeing quality control for the final product after the first run.
• Train new hires and update existing hires within the department
• Managing schedules, ensuring projects meet deadlines, and managing the overall operation.
• Giving your approval of the final print job
• Respond to and resolve client or production related issues
• Monitoring jobs in production and communicating with production and graphics specialists any special instructions, proofs, and shipping info.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or high school diploma equivalent with at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Must possess at least 5 years in manufacturing leadership role
• Must possess mechanical aptitude and hands on ability to trouble shooting
• Must be familiar with flexo operations and adhesive coating technologies
• Customer focused, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Problem-solving skills to include both analytical and creative thinking
• Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing
