Description and Responsibilities
Open Sky's Family Support Center serves adults and children with disabilities and Autism and their families in the Blackstone Valley area. The program is located in Whitinsville, MA at the Whitin Mill Complex.
The Flexible Funding Administrator assists in the processing of funds allocated to the families served out of the Family Support Center. This position also assists in coordination and oversight of community events and offerings.
The Flexible Funding Administrator will:
- Oversee the management of the flex funding process in conjunction with program leadership.
- Develop and maintain administrative systems (i.e., eHana, SharePoint log)
- Assist with credit card, petty cash and budgeting systems.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel to organize FSC systems & information.
- Work with Outreach Navigator and/or marketing department to assist with development of monthly activities calendar.
- Assist in the oversight of social media and virtual connections (familiar with Facebook, Twitter, virtual meeting platforms).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to be First Aid/CPR certified and participate in additional trainings to achieve success working with families.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
