We're looking for a passionate and experienced Product Procurement Specialist to join our team. **Responsibilities:**
1. **Vendor Communication:**
- Initiate and maintain communication with divest brands and vendors.
- Establish and nurture relationships to ensure a steady supply of high-quality products.
2. **Product Sourcing:**
- Research and identify potential tools and gear suitable for inclusion in The Burn Box.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors.
3. **Experience Requirement:**
- Prior experience as a first responder (law enforcement, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or firefighter) is preferred.
4. **Language Skills:**
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
5. **SOP Adherence:**
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) meticulously to maintain consistency and efficiency in procurement processes.
6. **Data Entry:**
- Accurate and timely entry of product details, prices, and vendor information into our systems.
7. **Negotiation Skills:**
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals and terms with vendors.
8. **Remote Work:**
- The position is remote, allowing flexibility in working hours while ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
**Requirements:**
- First responder background (law enforcement, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or firefighter).
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with vendor management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Adherence to SOPs for consistent procurement processes.
- Proficiency in data entry for accurate record-keeping.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
