Fleet Dispatch Manager - Corporate

Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is currently searching for a Fleet Dispatch Manager in the Houston, TX area. The Fleet Dispatch Manager ensures the assignment, sourcing, and logistics of organization's vehicles and equipment are being handled in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Enforce fleet processes and ensure all equipment management systems are updated timely and accurately.
• Analyze life cycle and utilization rates, making recommendations on replacement, addition and/or sale of assets as needed.
• Follow procedures for acquisition and divestiture of fleet assets including on-road and off-road equipment.
• Monitor equipment orders are filled in a timely manner from start to finish.
• Maintain owned fleet asset utilization.
• Interact with field operations to fill project needs.
• Ensure data systems are updated timely and accurately.
  • Audits equipment statuses regularly.
• Responsible for compliance to all Company policies and practices as well as any government regulations (Insurance, Registration, DOT, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years experience in fleet management and equipment operations.
• Sound knowledge of computer software such as Access, Excel, ViewPoint, P-Vault.
• Ability to follow instruction and communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to multi-task.
• Think and act strategically carrying out long-term plans to meet operational needs and departmental goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Equipment Rental Industry experience preferred.
