Job Description
Position overview:
Must be able to mig & tig weld, read blueprints and read a tape measure to 1/32”. Must double check all material prior to assembling for size and to make sure it meets the drawings requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
· Communicate with all company personal
· Locate and mark work piece bending and cutting lines, allowing for material thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications
· Layout reference points and patterns on materials according to component specifications
· Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers
· Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components
· Operate forklift truck
· Clean up your work area daily
· Work and operate all equipment in a safe manor
Requirements:
· Show up to work on time everyday
· High School diploma or G.E.D.
· Stay off you phone during working hours (phone calls, music, text ect.)
· Formal welding training
· Valid driver’s license
· Steel tip boots
· Flame resistance work clothing
