Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced StructuralWelders/Fitters for projects in and around Sinking Springs, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Fit and assemble structural frameworks and housings using materials such as Ibeams and steel plate
Layout part dimensions on workable table using square chalk lines and soapstone
Tack-weld scrap metal to outline to provide jig for assembly
Position parts in JIG and files, chisels and grind parts as indicated
Maintain and repair all equipment
Heat parts with acetylene torch and bend in vise on anvil or around stakes mounted in table
Semiautomatic Subarc Multipass 1 1/ fillet welds on show fabricated heavy structural grinders
Requirements:
Ability to lift 60LBS
Ability to pass weld test
Proper use of PPE
Math and problem solving skills, ability to to learn new task and operate welding machines and shop tools
Heavy structural experience
