Fitness Instructor

Torch Fitness by Valet Living is looking for a Fitness Instructor to teach a 45-minute (High Intensity Interval Training -HIIT) class at a luxury apartment community in San Antonio, TX - Cortland Walker Ranch located at 12803 West Ave, San Antonio, TX 78216 starting ASAP.

Typical class attendance is 4-10 residents. Preferred availability for 1x week class is Saturday at 10AM for HIIT class. Pay is $35/45-minute class.

This individual will be a part of a quickly expanding team focused on growth and delivering a consistent high-quality service to members within the community. Seeking individuals comfortable interacting and teaching group HIIT class to the residents of said community along with a passion for helping others meet their fitness goals.

Travel to and from community is required in addition to checking and attendance tracking using our software system.

Qualifications

• Liability insurance (required) or willing to get it
• Experience in designing and implementing Fitness programs and classes
• Current CPR and AED certification, college degree, or Fitness certification (preferred)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clock-in/clock-out and sign off training sessions using our software
• Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises during classes
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Lead and motivate clients safely throughout classes
• Practice what you preach. Live a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs
• Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and/or physical ailments
• Be a fitness leader in the community
• Build your book and brand yourself for success
