Position: Fish Processor
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced commercial Fish Processor to join our team in the seafood industry at our Anchorage, AK facility. This is a full-time position. As a Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. Experience and proficiency in filleting and trimming fish in a commercial setting is required. Other duties include preparing raw H&G salmon for cooking, i.e.: filleting, cutting, trimming, pin-boning, brining, racking fish.
Responsibilities:
- Fillet & process raw products according to company standards and procedures
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Knowledge of raw fish handling and preparation techniques. Must be able to fillet and trim salmon professionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holiday
-PPE and water/slip resistant footwear and rubber boots
-Must be physically strong and capable of lifting up to 50lbs, stooping, standing for an 8 hour shift
-Various operating machinery
