Our Gaishin Benton Harbor location has an opening on our First Shift or A-Shift for a CNC Operator, hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm with overtime available if desired. We are looking for candidates that want a long-term career at a company that values and supports their employees. Military veterans are encouraged to apply!
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of previous Swiss Style and/or Gantry Style lathe operation preferred.
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools, calipers and micrometers, etc.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Experience in geometric tolerancing along with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals as well as GD&T.
- Self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and awesome communication & interpersonal skills.
- Dependable individual with an excellent work ethic and the ability to stand/walk during the entire shift.
Job Summary:
A successful machinist/operator within our organization will accurately and efficiently use multi-axis CNC machines to produce quality parts, troubleshoot, set-up or process issues quickly, maintain equipment, and keep all production areas clean and organized.
