Do you want to work in an office where you are appreciated and valued? Butler Snow LLP, an AMLaw 200 law firm, is looking to fill a Firm Support Specialist role in our new Huntsville, AL office. The Firm Support Specialist is a key player for the firm, involved with many internal requests that are vital to keep the office productive. The primary focus of this position is building relationships with customers while providing important office support such as: handling all necessary driving and delivery requests; assisting with print and copy services; mail services; shipping and other office related tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to act as a messenger for the Firm, with dependable transportation and Auto Insurance that meets Firm guidelines.
- Operate high volume copy machines and perform binding and finishing work
- Convey appropriate product and services knowledge
- Assist with the ordering of office and equipment supplies as needed
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Service Center Manager
- Support as back up for the hospitality areas
- Provide an inviting environment for the customers by maintaining a neat and clean Copy & Print Center
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Full use of Windows 7 (or newer) and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook suites.
- Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a law firm setting
- Ability to take initiative and learn skills quickly
- Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects
- Organized, efficient and resourceful, detail-oriented
- Flexibility to work extra hours as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Prefer at least 2 years work experience in a professional environment with law firm experience a plus
