Falcon Fire Protection is looking for a full-time apprentice to help assist our fire Sprinkler Fitter journeymen with installation, repair and service on wet, dry and pre-action systems. You will learn to test, rebuild and replace backflow preventors, how to do inspections and much more. If you decide after one year that this trade is for you, we do offer an Apprentice program that we will sponsor you in to become a licensed Journeyman that takes approximately 5 years to complete. This job has many learning opportunities to advance your career in the Sprinkler Fitter trade.

- Work hours are 7:am -3:30pm
- Monday-Friday
Pay:
starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with a 60-day evaluation, and then a 6-month evaluation with pay increases.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Have a valid Drives License
- Have a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to climb ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet, ride up in a scissor lift
- Lift up to 100 lb.
- Carry 25-70 pounds repeatedly

We do follow all CDC Covid19 guidelines and safety requirements so you may be required to wear masks on some jobsites if require.
We do a majority of our work in the Detroit, Jackson, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek and other surrounding areas. Occasionally we do jobs out of state.
