Your Role
- Handle service calls and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Communicate with customers to identify system issues
- Repair fire alarm systems and related products on-site
- Follow troubleshooting procedures and technical manuals for repairs
- Install and troubleshoot various Fire & Life Safety systems
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction
- Complete service calls and maintain proper records
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Train team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in low-voltage electrical systems
- Fire Alarm License
- Ability to read blueprints and manuals
- Knowledge of testing equipment and commissioning devices
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Physically able to lift and move equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel overnight
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational ability and quick learner
- Valid driver's license and clean record
- Pass background and drug tests
- Compliance with safety regulations
- Positive attitude with a focus on learning and growth
- Required licenses according to codes
- Technicians needed in Sarasota and surrounding areas
Preferred
- NICET Level II certification
