We are currently hiring for our Contents Specialist opening. This position is within our Pack out department at ServiceMaster by BTM. At ServiceMaster we assist homes and businesses after water, fire, smoke, mold damage, and many other potential damages that may arise. The pack out division packs boxes, wraps furniture and prepares personal property to be picked up and transferred to our cleaning facility where it is then evaluated and cleaned. This position will require roughly half your time in the field and the other half of your time at our facility cleaning contents and preparing that property for its eventual return to its owner. Please note that we sometimes are entering homes that have been affected by extreme fire or other damages. You will be trained directly under our pack out manager in this position.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Drive a company vehicle to home and business to pack boxes and either leave on site or coordinate a move of those boxes/contents back to our cleaning facility.
- Clean personal property at our ServiceMaster site (furniture, dishes, etc. – this could be anything you typically find in a home or business).
- Utilize our contents software to track property, upload photos, and meet insurance requirements.
- Be comfortable communicating with home and business owners where our services are provided.
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
