You will serve as a FIRE PROTECTION INSPECTOR in the Navy Fire & Emergency Services Deptartment of NAS PENSACOLA.Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Providing technical expertise, advice, and supervision in FIRE PROTECTION efforts; 2) Inspecting facilities and structures for fire hazards; 3) Conducting training on fire safety practice and procedures.
This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Firefighter I and II, Airport Firefighter, HazMat Operations, Fire Inspector II, and Fire Instructor I,
These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement.
Also requires National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT)The following certification, if not already held, must be obtained within 12 months of hire as mandatory condition of position: Public Fire and Life Safety Educator.
