SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Life Safety compliance is being maintained in ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) throughout the state.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections of ASC's to ensure compliance with the NJ Fire Code, NFPA 101-2012 and their referenced publications.
- Perform annual fire door inspections
- Inspect fire walls while working on a ladder
- Collect information and complete reports
- Provide guidance and support to ASC management
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of building construction.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and address safety hazards
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Experience in healthcare facility operations a plus, but not a requirement, we will train the right candidate.
-Strong computer skills a must. Including Microsoft excel, word, email, calendar applications. --Mac user a plus.
-Strong people skills and a clean drivers license are an absolute must.
Because our business rotates strongly around fire safety, this is a perfect job for a retired, or active firefighter. With flexible hours, and a company car provided, you will be performing annual Life Safety, and fire door inspections to over 90 ASC's throughout New Jersey. This job comes with a lot of driving, but a take home vehicle, and company card for fuel and maintenance expenses is provided.
