Fire Alarm Installation Apprentice

Hartline is currently hiring for an Alarm Apprentice in our Lake Wales, FL branch.

Position Summary: The Alarm Apprentice will learn duties including install and service of alarm systems with knowledge of multiple products. The position will aid with inspections, installations, service calls and other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support with installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems skills
• System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
• Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment
• Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
• Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
• Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools
• Has excellent attendance and punctuality

Education & Required Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be responsible, self-starter, personable and well organized
• Must read and speak English
