Finishing and Material Handling

Job Summary: Responsible for transporting parts, cabinets, and components throughout the factory on conveyer or pallets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moving parts, pieces, and/or cabinets from one area to another.
• Keep a safe workplace by housekeeping and keeping an organized work area.
• Using assistive lifting and transporting devices to prevent injuries to self and others.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Stands and walks up to 12 hours per day on concrete surface while loading and stacking cabinets in the factory.
• Physically carries and transports items long distances up to 8+ hours per day.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and transport in excess of 20 pounds frequently and repetitively for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Frequently bends, stoops, reaches grasps, twists, pushes, and pulls items which range in excess of 20 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, and customers.
• Must be mentally alter and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks.
• Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations.
