Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Financial Wellness Counselor.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Dean of Financial Aid, the Financial Wellness Counselor will counsel and advise students regarding financial aid, including financial aid eligibility, application procedures, aid programs, costs, indebtedness, and money management; perform need analysis for domestic and international students, determine financial aid eligibility and prepare financial aid awards. The Financial Wellness Counselor will also work with Class Deans and the New Student Programs Coordinator to develop and provide financial education information and programs tailored to the developmental needs of each Class.
Bachelor’s degree required with one or more years of financial aid experience preferred or any combination of experience, education or training that provides the required skills, abilities, and knowledge. Computer skills, communication skills including experience making presentations, problem solving, and customer service skills are all desired; PowerFAIDs experience preferred.
