Job Summary:
The Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wireless-guided (TOW) Weapon System program in the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit; Precision Fires and Maneuvers (PF&M) product area has an immediate opening for an early in career TOW Financial Analyst role to provide analytical support and financial oversight over cost type Engineering Services and Development contracts. This role will require internal EVMS reporting on several development technical directives on a monthly basis. In addition, monthly financial planning and updating of detail level forecasts with an emphasis on variance analysis and a focus on process improvements and resource optimization to minimize future variances and drive profitability.
This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Create, maintain and analyze EVMS baseline on development efforts upwards of $25M of annual labor, with various engineering staffing and material costs including IOT cost flows and supplier Purchase Orders (PO)
Conduct weekly evaluation of financial metrics, workforce and variance analysis to plan in support of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash (BSEC) to Financial Planning in a fast-paced environment
Quarterly analysis, evaluation of performance, assembly and review of Estimate at Complete (EAC) of multiple Technical Directives
Assembly of monthly external customer schedule and cost reporting CDRL
Establishing execution budgets for new contract awards and evaluating performance against those budgets, including risk identification/socialization
Support and analyze new proposal development with an emphasis on evaluation of performance assumptions relative to historical trends
Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions
Ensuring proper cost collection on cost type contracts to ensure billing takes place on a timely manner
Summarize contract level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) sales objectives
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field
Typically requires 2 years related work experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-On experience with SAP EV / PMX Toolset or a similar system
Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR
Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
