This position is to support the day-to-day financial planning and modelling in accordance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), regional business requirements and company's procedures. The aim of this role is to support Finance Management in making operational and strategic decisions by providing key financial analysis and ensure that management reporting is applied accurately following the timescales required.
This role is remote, but we have offices in most major cities if you'd like to go in-person at times.
Responsibilities
- Support and prepare weekly/monthly financial analysis and KPI data for Finance Management and Project Teams/Operations audience.
- Assists in updating weekly dashboards with financial/operating results.
- Supports preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting for selected Business/Performance Units (e.g. revenue/costs, GM variance, G&A analysis, billability, unbilled/unearned, DSO/aging reviews, Bid & Proposals costs).
- Maintains in-house and B&P project setup and project close.
- Prepares project-specific research/analysis and ad hoc reporting upon Finance Manager's requests.
- Communicates with Finance Managers and Project Teams/Operations to provide financial data or solve a range of straightforward requests.
- May propose process, reporting and/or system changes and helps in testing or implementing improvements and new operational procedures.

Typical salary range for this position is $15.43/hr to $26.65/hr and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For "remote" positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics or related field
- Good MS Excel knowledge (working knowledge of VBA/Macro will be an asset).
- Good knowledge of other MS Office applications, e.g.: Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook, Teams.
- Good communication/basic presentation skills (both written and verbal) to handle routine business situations.
- Analytical skills, accuracy and focus on details.
- Good time and tasks management skills to ensure that all deadlines are met.
- A self-starter who works effectively under instructions, guidance and direction from more senior-level staff.
