The Data and Analytics Quality Assurance (DNAQA) Team is looking for a Technical Business Data Analyst for the ARC platform in support of Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting of the SEC Rule 613 Consolidated Audit Trail regulation.
Initiative
Hundreds of thousands of trades are made daily through their platforms. This team writes the code that makes it happen. There are trillions of data points every day from the Bank and this data needs to be reported to the Bank's reporting agencies. This resource will help to assure that the data is accurate and correct when reporting to regulatory commissions, internal teams and external stakeholders. Looking for a data obsessed resource and this role is a great opportunity to gain Investment Banking experience as well as grow SQL skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A background in business (Preferably from a major financial institution)
• BA in Business/Finance or related (MBA preferred)
• SQL experience
• Preferably experience with big data platforms using tools like as Python (Java also acceptable)
Roles and responsibilities:
• Interpreting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
• Communicating with stakeholders to determine accuracy of written business procedures
• Communicating with clients to keep them abreast of development work
• Investigating issues in our trading stack using SQL to diagnose the loci of the issues and subsequently communicating with teams needed to fix issues as they arise
• Keeping track of issues identified using JIRA and multiple databases (MYSQL/Oracle)
Nice to haves:
• Knowledge of FIX protocol
• CAT/OATS
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to adjust to a fast paced banking environment. Able to communicate with stakeholders. Passion for Data. Experience with CAT.
