Financial Data Analyst

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Data Analyst for a 3+ month contract with a utility company located in Litchfield Park, AZ. The consultant will be reporting to the VP of Finance and play a crucial role in validating the billing system. The company recently implemented SAP S/4HANA and need this person to validate that all customers were properly imported from the old system and are being accurately billed. This position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of budgeting. This is a hybrid role and will be required to be onsite 3 days/week.

Responsibilities:

• Validate that all customers were accurately imported from old system into SAP CIS billing.

• Ensure all billing is accurate by comparing historical data with current data.

• Improve performance and usage of the billing module (primarily SAP CIS).

• Ensure all customers are in the new billing system and set up correctly for rates, etc.

• Implement and monitor fixes in the billing system.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.

• Must have Billing system implementation experience.

• Utilities, energy and/or other regulated industry background highly preferred.

• Proven work experience in a similar role.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (CIS module) or other ERP systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
