Description
The Financial Analyst, under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director of Finance-Cash and Debt, assists in coordinating the financial planning and reporting of all city revenues including taxes, licenses fees, and economic development. Prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information for compliance with development agreements. Uses advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret, and make deductions from various facts or circumstances.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or business required.
Graduate work or advanced degree in or working towards MPA/MBA or CPA preferred.
Five years' experience in cash management, financial analysis and accounting required.
Ability to make rational decisions through sound logic and deductive reasoning
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, determine priorities, recall directions and details, and to follow-through to complete performance of essential functions
Ability to effectively prioritize project assignments, track and report project status for multiple projects
