You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. This experience is defined as meeting all of the following:- Ensuring financial accountability and compliance with federal rules, regulations, laws, and policies as they relate to housing projects assisted or insured by the Office of Multifamily Housing; AND
- Reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements, monthly accounting reports, and operating budgets for Multifamily projects; AND
- Using financial systems and technology in conducting financial reviews.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.Education: Individual Occupational Requirement
Education: Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology.
OR
Experience: Experience such as performing financial analysis and evaluation work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of (1) corporate finance and any specialized fields of finance required such as public finance, securities, international finance, money and securities markets, investments, and banking, and (2) the financial and management structure, operations, and practices of corporate and other organizations.
The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
