A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Financial Analyst - Physical License. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the reporting and accounting for the international Physical Licensing business, in compliance with individual licensee contractual terms. The ideal candidate has experience with financial analysis, US GAAP and IFRS. The company offers a great work environment!

Financial Analyst - Physical LicensingPay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $50/hr
• Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid, onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

Financial Analyst - Physical LicensingResponsibilities:

• Review and analyze license agreements (interprets contractual terms; establishes revenue recognition requirements; establishes billing and payment terms).
• Approve and process statements to be sent to customers.
• Perform detailed analysis and research for reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare monthly reporting (A/R Aging, Bad Debt, P&L, etc.).
• Handle customer queries and royalty summaries.
• Review receivables for past due balances and communicate with customers for resolution.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Apply cash receipts to A/R sub-ledger by customer account.
• Set up contracts within Media Maestro.
• Make adjustments to revenue models and promotions as required.

Financial Analyst - Physical LicensingQualifications:

• 5+ years related experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with financial analysis, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in month-end close and reporting preferred.
• Experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
• Experience with Media Maestro and SAP is preferred.
• Advance proficiency MS Office (specifically Excel).
  
• Strong analytical and organizational skill.
• Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions.
  
• Excellent written & oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
