Job Overview:
The Financial Analyst II will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate job pricing (fixed, service and T&M). In this role you must possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role will contribute to the smooth operations and helping to maintain the financial health of Convergint Federal / SigNet Technologies through proper pricing of jobs.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Analyze financial performance against targets and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and key stakeholders. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with business units and functional teams to understand their financial needs, provide financial guidance, and support decision-making processes. Act as a trusted advisor to help drive business performance.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimizations. Recommend and implement strategies to enhance profitability and operational effectiveness.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning. Assess the financial implications of business initiatives, investments, and strategic alternatives.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, assess their potential impact, and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor key financial metrics and market trends to anticipate and address potential challenges.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure data integrity. Identify opportunities to leverage technology and analytics to improve financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in a technology-driven or government contracting environment. Job pricing - fixed, service and T&M jobs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and Excel; experience with financial planning and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Tableau) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
