Primary Objective:
- The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting Global Logistics Finance processes. The Financial Analyst will work globally & closely with cross-functional business teams, Logistics leaders, and external Logistics partners to support Freight Payment Automation processes.
Core Job Responsibilites:
- Work closely with our 3rd Party Freight Payment vendor, SAP IT, Accounts payable, and Corp. Treasury to ensure all payment cycles are seamlessly executed and complete.
- Develop and maintain cost allocation rules in the 3rd Party Freight Payment system.
- Resolve cost allocation exceptions by clearing freight bills in Exception Reports for U.S. and global payments.
- Maintain and track billing issues/tickets and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve freight billing errors and provide solutions to correct discrepancies.
- Provide support with project integration activities and assist with the transition of system platforms and updating vendor requirements.
- Work directly with freight carriers and review invoices on statement of accounts to resolve billing issues.
- Perform ad hoc analysis on freight costs, carriers, and shipments.
- Prepare and submit journal entries and intercompany billings.

- Demonstrates strong teamwork and business partnership skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly as well as influence through relaying complex data in simple terms.
- Proven ability to turn raw data into actionable intelligence.
- Knowledge and proficiency in systems, particularly MS Excel, SAP, Power BI, experience is a plus.
- Innovative with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Individual must be self-motivated, be able to work independently, and adjust priorities as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree B.S. or B.A. in Business (Business/Accounting/Finance).
