Financial Analyst

Healthcare Realty (NYSE: HR) is hiring a Financial Analyst in Nashville, TN or Scottsdale, AZ. This position will work with the Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team and will provide analysis and reporting on a regular basis and will be involved in the budgeting and forecasting process. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and able to work as part of a dynamic team in an evolving environment.

Essential Responsibilities

· Preparation of recurring reporting and analysis for the company

· Preparation of information that is included in the Supplement, 10-K and 10-Q

· High level of participation in the budgeting and forecasting process

· Preparation of ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support business leaders

· Support process improvements, including creation of standard and ad hoc reports

· Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field

· 1 to 2 years’ experience in an FP&A or Accounting position is preferred

· Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities

· Excellent deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively summarize and present results of analysis/research

· Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Team player with a willingness to help department meet goals and responsibilities

· Ability to work with individuals of varying levels of responsibility across various departments within the company
