Compiles, reports, and analyzes financial information
JOB FUNCTIONS
Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time
• Provide monthly reporting and analysis of revenue and expenses, including variance and driver analysis
• Support the planning process by providing revenue and expense forecasts
• Create and deliver presentations that communicate analysis findings to audiences within Finance & in other departments
• Maintain financial models & identify opportunities for improvement and ease of use
• Use various software packages (MS Excel, MS Access, COGNOS, SAP, BPC) to assemble and manipulate data and generate accurate reports
• Assist in managing quality of data used for reporting and analysis
• Provide support for ad hoc requests and special projects
• May perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math or other quantitative field
• Three (3) to five (5) years experience in statistical or financial analysis
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred)
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access proficiency preferred
