While based in our Irvine office location, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our US Finance team with ad-hoc analysis and preparing financial reports, helping to make an impact for our US and global brand.
What you’ll be doing
As the Financial Analyst, you will support the Sr. Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, primarily developing and reporting on key business metrics for various business units across the organization. This position will also track industry intelligence to understand key business trends. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:
- Preparing financial reports and perform both monthly variance and ad-hoc analysis.
- Assisting in the reconciliation of actual financial results and participate in the monthly financial reforecast process.
- Preparing and analyzing views on capital, operating and cash flow variances to budgets as well as other performance indicators.
- Using problem-solving skills to analyze large sets of complex data.
- Tracking key performance metrics and performance of all US operating business units.
- Compiling, analyzing and preparing summary reports of overhead departments to management.
What you’ll bring
Think you could make a difference here? We’re looking for someone who with a drive to expand our US FP&A team and provide careful analysis and expertise into our financial plans and models. You’ll want to make an impact from day one. You will also have some of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.S.) from a four-year college/university and a minimum of four (4) years of related corporate financial analysis experience.
- Experience in large-scale data sets, navigating systems and reporting on financial data.
- Strong analytical skills and an expert users of Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, graphs, scenario modeling, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated client and internal management presentation skills.
