Job Description:
As a US Defence Finance Analyst, your key accountabilities will include:
Financial Performance Reporting:
Pull data together to assist in the analysis of the financial results at the end of each AP in accordance with regional and sector timelines
Assist in tracking and analysis of costs on Projects within Defence Services
Assist in research of variances between actual results and forecasted results in Defence Services.
Budgeting and forecasting:
Support budgeting, Annual Target Setting, In-Year Forecasts and other forecasts as required based on guidance from the Program and Financial Controller.
Business support:
Research Costs postings to help program with analysis of the project costs, pulling data from SAP and other sources as needed
Reconcile accounts as needed
Ad hoc:
Assists with ad hoc projects to support the business in finance and/or cross-functional business process improvement teams.
Prepares and Submits Invoice Requests to NAFSC for both US Government and Non-Government Customers
Supports other programs as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Business or Finance and 4+ years experience in Business or Finance, or
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance and 0-1 year of experience in Business or Finance

Preferred Requirements:
Experience working as a business or Financial Analyst in a large corporation
Experience with SAP
9 hours of accounting classes
